Return Policy

IMPORTANT UPDATE : WE’RE REOPENING SOME STORES. FIND OUT MORE. In taking care to ensure we can continue offering the same exceptional service you’ve come to expect from us, we’ve adjusted our policies. You can now enjoy free standard shipping and free returns on online orders. If you made a purchase at one of our stores, we have now extended our return policy to 60 days for all purchases made as of February 1 once our stores reopen. Internet Returns to Stores

For your convenience, we accept online returns at Steve Madden stores. We gladly accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery. This excludes clearance items and earrings which may not be returned or exchanged. All handbags and accessories must have original tags attached. Take the merchandise in its original packaging and the packing slip from the shipping carton to the store. Click here to find a store near you. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment or as store credit.

Returns by Mail

Steve Madden will gladly authorize free returns for a limited time only of UNWORN Merchandise within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please sign into your account, under Order Detail & Tracking click ‘View Order’ then click ‘Return Request’ next to the item you wish to send back. Check the box next to the item and choose the reason for the return. After you hit next you will then be able to print a prepaid return shipping label to use to ship the items back to us. This label is a prepaid Canada Post shipping label. You may give the package to a Canada Post Office office. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. Your return request must be made within 30 days of when your order was delivered and we must receive the merchandise back at the warehouse within 15 days of when the authorization was issued. Do not send items back through other means or without obtaining a return authorization as your package may be sent back to you. You may request a return online by signing into your account, via phone 1-877-940-9480, email info@stevemaddencanada.ca or by live chat. Usual turnaround time is 1-2 weeks from time shipped to when refund is issued.

PLEASE NOTE: Clearance Items and Earrings may not be returned or exchanged. All purchases are final on Clearance items and Earrings.

Exchanges

We do not do exchanges. Our reasoning is simple. Our products are in high demand and if you send back the item you want to exchange, there is no guarantee we will have what you want at that time. Therefore we suggest you place a new order for the style color you want and then call customer service at 1-877-940-9480 to get return authorization and a prepaid Canada Post shipping label to send the original item back to us as a return. When you call customer service please have your new order number handy so they can file the return as an exchange and a full refund will be issued once the merchandise is received back at our warehouse.
