We accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery, with the original packaging / tags attached. Shipping charges are not refundable. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment. All clearance items, bodysuits, earrings, masks, mask filters, and items marked as final sale are not eligible for returns/exchanges.
Return in one of our retail stores: For your convenience, we accept online returns at Steve Madden stores (this excludes online exclusive and Apparel items which must be returned via mail). Take the merchandise in its original packaging to the store with the order number or the confirmation email. Click here to find a store near you.
BY MAIL: For returns by mail, sign in to your account, under Order Detail & Tracking click ‘View Order’ then click ‘Return Request’ next to the item(s) you wish to send back. There is a $6.95 plus tax per order return fee that covers restocking and postage back to the warehouse. Your return request must be made within 30 days of when your order was delivered, and we must receive the merchandise back at the warehouse within 15 days of when the authorization was issued.

Xpresspost 1-3 days shipping is not available for the three territories; Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. Xpresspost orders must be submitted by 1PM ET to be shipped the same day, orders placed after 1PM ET will ship the following business day.
We cannot guarantee delivery dates will be met for Xpresspost shipping methods on Clearance merchandise as supply is very limited and it may take additional days to process and ship.
Item(s) must be in stock. Pre-order items will ship on or about their expected ship date. If your order contains in stock and pre-order items, in stock items will be dispatched using your chosen shipping method and pre-order items will be shipped separately once stock is available.
We do not ship on holidays such as New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, St. Jean Baptiste Day, Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Boxing Day.
The cost for shipping is $30.00 per order. Items going to Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon are shipped via Xpresspost and will arrive within 7 business days
We will send you a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped that will include the Canada Post tracking number. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment. You can also check the status of your order anytime by clicking on the Order Tracking link in the footer of every page on this site or by logging in to My Account and going to My Orders.
If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. So that we can deliver your purchases to you as efficiently as possible, items which ship from the same location are grouped together. Our shipping confirmation emails will let you know how much of your order has shipped.
